The history of the walls, inhabited today by the DRAPPIER family, dates back to the twelfth century when Saint Bernard built in Urville an annex of the Abbey of Clairvaux.
It was not until 1808 that one of the ancestors of the house, François, moved to Urville and began to exploit a vineyard.

This vineyard, which today extends over 55 ha – without counting the contracts-associations in the Côte des Bar, the mountain of Reims & the Côte des Blancs – surrounds these Cistercian cellars and is the pride of the house.
Cultivated close to nature, it gives life to grapes rich in complex aromas that will allow the development of champagnes with strong personnality housed in exceptional bottles.

Accompanied by a representative of the Drappier family, Patrick Louette – Sommelier of Cazaudehore – worked on the selection of the wines they will present together during this evening.

With the Chef Grégory Balland, they have elaborated a menu in perfect agreement with the chosen bottles, around the noble, fresh and seasonal products that we like so much.

For more conviviality and exchanges, it will be served as a “table d’hôte”.

30 seats only, in the format of “table d’hôtes” to promote communication & exchanges.

Timing:
The aperitif will be served at 20h and we will have dinner around 20h30. We estimate the end of dinner around midnight.

Prices:
Dinner proposed at 180€ per person.
A package with accomodation including the dinner, overnight in a double room & buffet breakfast is also proposed as from 245 € per person.
A deposit will be required.
